Campana Motors is a Quebec company, that has been producing motorcycle based 3-Wheeled performance vehicles since the mid 1990's. Founded by Daniel Campana, a Formula Ford racer and constructor, Campana gained US homologation for the T-Rex in 2001. In 2008 a second model, a V-Twin based trike, was introduced using a Harley Davidson Revolution engine.

The basis for the T-Rex drivetrain is the Kawasaki ZX-14R, which at the time of construction was the world's most powerful sport bike. The engine and 6-speed sequential gearbox with chain drive are placed in a 1.5" tubular steel spaceframe, triangulated for rigidity and crash protection. The gearbox was modified with a lever operated mechanical reverse gear. Fiberglass bodywork covers the mechanical components and is used for the 'cycle' type fenders. A plexiglass wind deflector acts to send airflow over the cockpit. Occupants are held in place with 3 pt. seat belts and are protected by a roll cage. Lockable and removable twin rear saddle bags offer several cubic feet worth of storage.

Front suspension follows race car practice with rose-jointed double wishbones and adjustable coil spring/damper units. The braking system is by Wilwood and features axially and radially vented front disks. Front wheels are 16" x 7" and wear 205-45-15 tires and the rear wheel is 17" x 10" and has a 285-40-17 tire.

This T Rex was purchased in 2007 and was wrapped in a WWII Bomber inspired livery featuring 'Melrose' and the 'Red Mile' which reference the owner's successful restaurant and Calgary's 17th Ave street party during the Calgary Flame's playoffs.

This vehicle has covered just over 2,000km and has always been stored indoors. It is both extremely fast and incredibly visceral, offering an incomparable driving experience. It feels like driving a racing car on the road, though titled as a motorcycle. Replacement cost is over $75,000.
