The Sport Trac is a Ford Explorer variant, with a pick up bed replacing the 3rd row seat and luggage area of the SUV. It was produced from 2001 to 2010 in two generations (2001-05, 2007-10) and was Ford's first mid-size pick up, sized between the Ranger and F150. It has a truck based ladder frame and separate body, giving it load and towing capability beyond monocoque-based cross over vehicles. The Sport Trac has the chassis from the Explorer SUV with independent suspension and full time AWD, as opposed to the live axle and part time 4WD of the F150. It is essentially an Explorer with a Pick Up body.

Developed by Ford SVT, the 'Adrenalin' package was available only on the second generation Sport Tracs for the years, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Originally designed to be supercharged and a replacement for the SVT Lightning, the Adrenalin was instead offered as an appearance package with the F150's 4.6L 292hp V8 engine, a body coloured 'aero kit', model specific front fenders, integrated running boards and bumpers, blacked out trim and unique 20" polished wheels.

This Sport Trac Adrenalin was purchased in Victoria BC and lived there until it was sold and brought to Calgary in 2021 with 257,000km. It was put through the Out Of Province Inspection process, and approximatley $5,000 of work was done to the vehicle addressing the suspension, brakes, and one of the camshafts. The vehicle has now covered just over 291,000km, and has had the benefit of regular maintenance since.

The last service was at Metro Ford in April 2025 @ 289,379km and included an oil service, steering rack replacement and an alignment at a cost of $2,645. The body shows no corrosion, and the interior is free from any rips, tears, stains or smells. two sets of wheels/tires are included; the polished OEM stock wheels on winter tires and the aftermarket black wheels with summers.

Apart from a mildly corroded exhaust it has no immediate needs, and still has a useful life ahead of it. Priced realistically for the year and condition.
