About the Lexus ES 350

The Lexus ES 'Executive Sedan' is the mid-sized sedan offering from Lexus, now in its 7th Generation. Debuting in 1999, the first 5 generations were based on the Toyota Camry. The 6th Generation (XV60) is related to the Toyota Avalon, with which it shares its wheelbase of 2,820mm. It was produced from 2012 to 2018 and was face lifted in 2016. Model variants included the ES350 and ES 350h. This generation of Lexus ES was the first to feature the current 'waterfall grill' front end treatment of all current Lexus.

The ES350 uses Toyotas proven 2GR-FE V6 engine producing 268bhp and 248 lb/ft of torque mated to a 6 speed automatic gearbox and front wheel drive. Though the sedan is tuned for ride comfort and refinement, the ES is quick with 0-100km/hr arriving at just over 7 seconds. Transport Canada rated fuel consumption is a reasonable 11.4 km/100km City, and 7.7 km/100km highway. Observed fuel economy with mixed driving for this ES 350 is approximately 10.0 L/100km.

Standard equipment levels are extremely high, and Toyota's "Safety Sense" suite of camera and radar based driver aids including back up camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision System, Blind Spot Warning, Cross Traffic Alert, Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure warning, and automatic high beams are included. These systems use a collection of radar and cameras to scan the road ahead and detect potential dangers, such as a vehicle suddenly braking. The technologies then warn the driver, and if not action is taken they can intervene in order to avoid a collision. About This Car

This vehicle was purchased new from Lexus of Kelowna. It was sold in Nov 2024 after the elderly original owner, with some persuasion from his children, decided to give up driving.

This vehicle was always serviced at Royal Oak Lexus, where it received oil changes at 7k and 13k in addition to the Lexus recommended checks and inspections. It was serviced at Lugnutz after it was purchased with just under 24,000km. Work included a professional detail and polish, oil service, transmission service, engine and cabin air filter change and new windscreen. 2 sets tires with more than 50% wear remaining are included.

The CARFAX reports an accident to the front end in August, 2019, but with no damage/invoice/estimate amount listed. The damage was due to a collision with a deer, which happened within the city limits. The front bumper cover and headlights were replaced. Paint meter readings reveal factory paint depth on all metal panels and all panel gaps appear factory. All original fasteners are in place and undertrays are undamaged.

Other than a few touched up rock chips and lower bumper scuffs (also touched up) and a few marks on the alloy wheels, the vehicle presents as a one or two year old vehicle. The signal light lens on the passenger side mirror is broken and a replacement lens has been ordered with an ETA of mid-Dec.
