Request For Interesting Vehicles

George Curnew from Lugnutz, Dale Walmsley and I, collector friend Gary Peddle and Barbara Pohl from the Calgary Police Youth Foundation are organizing a charity car show and drive on June 2/3, 2023.   We will have a show/reception at Lugnutz on the Friday evening and a drive - with Police escort - out in the direction of Priddis on the following Saturday.

We are looking to bring together an interesting group of collector/speciality automobiles that, in addition to being eye-candy, tell a story of automotive technology, functional art, and the Human spirit that designed, built and now cares for them.

It is for a good cause.  We can all agree that early intervention to at-risk children is a worthy endeavour that should be supported.

"Drive of Champions" will give the vehicle exhibitors/drivers the chance to describe why their cars are worthy of preservation, go for a nice drive through the scenic countryside, and perhaps ignite a spark in some youths who would otherwise not be able to experience the privilege of fine machinery.

We are looking to bring together an  interesting variety of vehicles, both old and new, that we can have fun comparing, contrasting and enjoying.
